Disclaimer: Whenever I see ?!? it makes a sound in my head like a diesel truck honking and a baby crying, all mixed together with the faint noise of a kazoo... so, ya. I hope you now understand why I titled this "College?!?" I decided to write this post because I wanted to help out two of my dearest friends, who asked me to tell all the in's and out's of college as their graduation gift. But now I've decided this is actually just a lil pep talk for me to get through the semester. (This is them. My friends. Who are probably the only ones who will ever read this lol.) Sadly, I don't know anything about college really. It's a different experience for everyone, and we all go through life at our own pace, right? But, since this is my page on the internet, and all ya'll are going at my pace at the moment, I've decided to share some things I've learned and what's worked for me over this past year(ish) of being at Utah State Universi...

Here's the thing. I completely forgot that this blog even existed actually. But luckily for me, I found it. A lot has happened over the last two years, a lot of things I wish I had known would happen. For my sixteen year old self's sake (or perhaps for my current one right now), I wanted to write a letter to my past self, telling her all the things she would learn in the years to come. So, without further due... Dear Ash, Hey girlfriend. Me being the pal that I am, I wanna let you in on a few tips and secrets that it took me a couple years to figure out... First off, you can do it. It may not feel like it all the time, but you can do anything you put your mind to. To follow up on that last one, everything you do does NOT have to be perfect. Cut yourself some slack, or you'll do more harm than good. Your heart will get broken... multiple times. But don't keep running back to the person who broke it, look for healing in someone else. It's okay to not be ok...
