I believe in finding joy in the worst of times. Today I woke up so uncertain. AP exam scores were released online, and I had been waiting for this day for almost two months now. So, I looked on my computer, and my anticipation and anxiety turned to sadness and disappointment. Essentially, I got a failing score. For some, this isn't a big deal, but I was devastated. I'm a perfectionist, and failure is not in my vocabulary (besides today of course). I sulked downstairs to seek comfort in Harry Potter (7 part 2) and my couch. As I sat there, my friend was texting me trying to cheer me up. We started talking about how good things can come from even the hardest of situations, and he made me snap out of my misery. I sucked it up, and I attempted to put sunshine in my soul (even though its raining lol). In short, my day got better from that point on.
